this wheel-thrown bowl is made of high-fire porcelain/stoneware mixed clay and glazed in mellow yellow with a sweeping crescent of grey-blue and lilac. everything about this piece feels alive — the soft warmth of the yellow meeting the cool depth of blues and purples, the way the colors shift and mingle, and that little blush of red on the exterior that brings a sense of motion frozen in place.
