this wheel-thrown tumbler is made of high-fire porcelain/stoneware mixed clay and glazed entirely in moss green with a base dip in shiny black. the overlap of the two finishes creates a rich, deeper green that shifts beautifully in the light.
designed with commuting in mind, the base is intentionally tapered to nestle securely into most car cup-holders. the top offers two ways to sip: a slim straw slot for your favorite reusable straw, and a crescent-shaped opening if you’d rather drink straight from the cup. while i reach for this one most for cold drinks, it works just as well for warm beverages.
