simple beauty!

this wheel-thrown tumbler is made of dark stoneware clay which is stretched with sodium silicate creating soft crackling on the exterior body that is highlighted with black iron oxide and then gently polished. the interior and top exterior is glazed in soft satin white. subtle throwing rings visible inside the tumbler are my favorite, you can see the clay’s journey being pulled upwards from a puck of clay into a forever usable shape!

it measures at 3 3⁄4 inches tall; it holds 16oz
