this wheel-thrown tumbler is made of porcelain clay. it features bright white glazing inside and rutile blue glazing with a very subtle overlapping glaze of satin black. this black colors the rim a goldish, metallic coloring and creates noticeable shading in the blue that includes some purples. as properly named, the thumbler has the perfect divot for the thumb to rest for a pleasant handhold and this one boasts very visible pink coloring under the thumb rest! blessings from the kiln gods!
