roundy bowl is just fun to say!

this wheel-thrown bowl is made of white stoneware clay and is glazed in pale celadon. it features a series of lines as embellishment near the rim that allow glimpses of the bare clay body. this shape is wonderfully pleasing to see and to hold and would work well for large flowers (i use it for my hydrangea blooms). having used food safe glazes, it would also be suitable for a nice curry, a soup, or salad.

it measures just over 3 ½ inches tall and and is slightly under 6 ¼ inches across at its widest with a 5 ¼ inch opening.
