beautiful blue!

this wheel-thrown mug is made of white stoneware clay. the mug interior is glazed in rutile blue with an overlapping exterior dip in satin black that just makes the dreamiest, cascadiest glazed mug. i am in LOVE! the glaze breaks over the rim and handle giving a bronze-y outline that perfectly complements the blues. the effect is motion frozen in a moment. is there anything better?!?

it measures 4 3⁄4 inches tall; it holds 14oz.
