line ‘em up!
this wheel-thrown mug is made from a high-fire porcelain/stoneware blend. the interior is glazed in bright white, while the exterior has an angled overlapping dip in soft gray-blue with a warm iron-oxide line floating above it. the throw lines peek through the translucent glaze — one of my favorite details — and there’s a little heart-shaped melt on the front that feels like a tiny surprise.
this mug has a gently refined handle design: the clay is eased inward just a touch beneath the handle, giving a bit more space for your fingers and making the grip feel naturally comfortable. the form widens low on the body before slipping into a minimal foot — a combination that’s stable on the table and easy in the hand.
