this wheel-thrown spoon rest is made of high-fire stoneware/porcelain mixed clay. it is glazed simply in dijon yellow and bright white and what i appreciate most is the dappling of darker yellow the dijon does near the rim of the rest. everything about this piece is calming and soft.
