this wheel-thrown mug is made of high-fire porcelain/stoneware mixed clay. the mug exterior and interior is glazed in bright white with a angle dip in shiny black at the base. it’s one of my favorite color combinations, so simple and elegant! the cobalt from the shiny black comes through in the overlap onto bright white creating little hints of green, brown, and blue that are so dreamy!
let’s talk about this unique design! originating from feedback received at markets, some mugs have been adjusted to be more accessible for people with large hands, strength or dexterity issues. underneath the handle, the clay wall is indented inward slightly, giving extra room for the knuckles, providing a more comfortable and steadying grip.
measurements: just over 4½” H; it holds 16 fl oz.
