this wheel-thrown mug is made of dark stoneware clay. the clay is stretched with sodium silicate creating soft crackling on the exterior body that is highlighted with black iron oxide and then gently polished. the interior and top exterior is glazed in a rich rutile blue that i am over the moon in love with! the pairing of deep earthy brown and rich blues is a treat!
measurements: 3¾” H; it holds 16 fl oz.
