this wheel-thrown cereal bowl is made of high-fire dark red stoneware clay. The bowl is glazed at angles in both bright white (appearing as a light toasty tan over the dark clay body) and dark turquoise. this color combination is a treat and this particular bowl gives the additional gift of white speckling, constellations emerging from an inky sky. beautiful!
