breaking blue!
this wheel-thrown dish is made from a porcelain and stoneware clay blend. the gray-blue glaze meets bright white, and where they overlap a soft band of purples, grays, and periwinkle appears. blue feels so calming, and the slight raised rim keeps drips, spills, and tiny mishaps right where they belong — which pleases me too.
use it as a small bowl, a spoon rest, or a tidy spot for tea bags.
