simple beauty!

this wheel-thrown cereal bowl is made of porcelain clay. the interior is glazed in shiny white and the exterior is glazed in cornflower blue glaze with a dip in gray blue on top. the gray blue glaze features white speckling and the line of the two blues meeting creates a really deep blue that is lovely. i particularly enjoy the air bubble that got out during glazing, creating a little dip of the gray blue into the cornflower, seen in the second picture.

it measures 2 ½ inches tall and and is 5 ½ inches across
